Hex Flange Bolt
A hex flange bolt combines the bolt head and a washer-style flange in one part, spreading clamping force over a wider area and speeding up assembly. It is widely used across motorcycle, automotive and appliance assemblies.

What is a hex flange bolt?
A hex flange bolt is a bolt with a six-sided head and a round, washer-like flange formed directly under it. The flange spreads the clamping force over a wider area, so the joint can be tightened without fitting a separate washer. That saves a part and an assembly step, which is why flange bolts are common on motorcycles, rickshaws and appliances.
Typical uses
- Motorcycle and rickshaw frames and covers
- Engine and gearbox casings
- Appliance panels and brackets
Hex Flange Bolt FAQ
Why choose a flange bolt instead of a hex bolt and washer?
The flange does the job of the washer, so there is one part to stock and fit instead of two, and the washer cannot be left out on the assembly line.
Which finishes are available?
We plate hex flange bolts in-house in clear zinc and yellow zinc, and can supply galvanized or other finishes on request.
Can you match an existing bolt?
Yes. Send us a sample or a drawing with the thread size and length, and we will confirm how we can make it.
How do I get a price?
Prices depend on size, finish and quantity. Send the part name, size, finish and quantity on WhatsApp or through the contact form, and our team will reply with a quotation.
