Production stages
From wire rod to finished fastener.
Stage 01Raw Material
Steel wire rod is stored, inspected and drawn to the diameter each part requires.
Stage 02Forming
Heads and shapes are formed by cold heading, forging and pressing, then trimmed to profile.
- Cold Heading & Cold Forging ShopBolt heads, flanges and shapes are formed cold for strong, consistent parts.
- Press & Forming ShopWashers, plates and pressed components are punched and formed from sheet and strip.
- Trimming & Secondary OperationsHex trimming, pointing, slotting and other finishing operations after heading.
Stage 03Threading & Machining
Threads are rolled or cut, and parts are machined, drilled and milled to the drawing.
Stage 04Surface Finishing
Zinc, galvanized, nickel and chrome finishes protect parts and give them their final look.
Stage 05Quality & Dispatch
Parts are inspected, packed and stored ready for dispatch to customers.
